Damn the Wind!

I went for a short ride this morning and encountered the storm above. It makes being outside extra enjoyable when you get sandblasted on top of being blown around. I'm pretty sure Las Vegas is being punished for it's sinful ways because I don't remember the spring ever being this windy.

Sounds like you need a helmet with a face shield!!! Wind sucks. Im hopeing it goes away before summer, so we can enjoy the lake. Do you ever go riding out there? We always see alot of cyclists by the lake.

Um, Vegas is always windy! Just think of it as a mild exfoliation.

I've been out a few times to Boulder Beach. It's a great place to practice the open water smim to bike transition.

Maybe Vegas has always been this windy. Hopefully I'm not getting too soft.

Riding through the eye of the storm wasn't too bad; that movie Twister makes it out to be a bigger deal than it really is.

*a quiet sigh for Aubrey*

Is that how your bike got her nickname of Dorothy?

Aubrey, you've inspired me to write a movie about scientists chasing storms on bikes.

KJ, it's no joking matter when I put my life on the line in the name of science.

that movie sounds superb! maybe if you make it a documentary i'll know how it really works and KJ wont have to sigh at me anymore?
